PrayerCloud (Video)

*This video overview may include some out-of-date images. We appreciate your patience as we work to get these videos updated.

Before working with the Prayers area in the "Appearance" tab, you will need to set-up a PrayerCloud account. This can be done by going to Communications> Prayers. This will prompt you to set-up an account and then will drop you back into the Streaming>Settings>Appearance tab in order to toggle on or enable Prayers in your Livestream layout. You will also want to toggle on the "Allow Acknowledgements" as well, in order to make the Prayer area more interactive.

Enabling Prayer means that on your Livestream layout (URL when your livestream player lives) you will see a tab that says "Prayer." With this, people watching the livestream can add in their prayer requests, and also pray for the requests coming in.

By "allowing acknowledgements," anyone who fills out the prayer request form can then know if someone has prayed for their request. The person submitted the request can opt into having their request shared or remain anonymous. This is not required, but is a nice feature.

The system doesn't immediately post the prayer request because we want to make sure the requests are available to review before being posted to your live site. To do this, you will go to Communications> Prayers and see a list of requests to be approved.

You can click into each prayer request and make any adjustments to the language (in case someone may have shared some sensitive information that you'd like to edit) and then click the "Mark approved" button for the request to be posted on the live site.
